eBay's Asian Exporters' Index

Since China is home to a significant proportion of eBay’s exporters in Asia, it was only appropriate that the company’s first-ever Asian exporters’ index be produced in Chinese alongside its English-language version. It was a client brief that BW&D’s design studio welcomed with open arms. Chin Yee Lam, one of our senior designers, especially relished the opportunity: he is Chinese speaking and has lectured on design in China.  Because both versions were launched in Asia, Chin Yee drew from his experience in designing materials for an Asian audience by introducing design elements that included the use of brush strokes, resonant of Chinese calligraphy, as well as the generous application of red, which signifies prosperity in Chinese culture.
