How do you keep readers of a university alumni publication engaged and supportive of their alma mater? When we produced the design and editorial for the latest issue of Macquarie University’s Macquarie Matters, we used magazine production techniques we’ve learned over decades in the business: newsworthy angles, story-telling narratives, uncluttered, in-depth reporting and great design to create a publication that entertained readers while providing them with useful information about the life and achievements of their university.
