BWD moves to Sydney CBD
After calling Sydney’s North Shore home for more than 20 years, Businesswriters & Design recently relocated to new premises in the Sydney CBD.
Now in a newly refurbished space on the corner of George and Bridge streets, we’re closer to many Sydney-based clients which include eBay, Lion (formerly Lion Nathan), Caltex Australia, the Australian Energy Market Commission, Mission Australia, the Australian Human Rights Commission and mining and resources company Astron Limited. We’d been seeking suitable CBD premises for a while to be closer to clients and allow more impromptu meetings and catch-ups – and that’s exactly what’s been happening.
We’re equally delighted with our new fitout, which reflects our corporate design principles and serves our operational needs well. Our boardroom features a full-size wall graphic designed by our studio, which we believe showcases our design expertise, while the view of the grand Burns Philp sandstone building in Bridge Street adds a pleasing dimension to our interior space.
BWD’s relocation follows strong business performance over the past twelve months. In the last quarter of 2011 we were appointed to write and design Lion’s sustainability report and supporting communications, write Santos’s sustainability report, and appointed to a panel to supply creative and design services to 32 participating government departments and agencies. Since then we have also produced a suite of communications collateral for ASX-listed mining company Astron Limited, including an information memorandum and booth panels and brochures for a major mining finance exhibition in Hong Kong.
